Role: Project Lead & Event Producer

Each year The David Prize hosts a party to celebrate our winners. In 2025, we decided to throw our biggest party yet—a full-scale production with over 300 people at the Domino Sugar Factory. The theme was The Most New York Party, a nod to our DNA as a New York-centric Prize.

No detail went overlooked—we had MC Bernie Wagenblast, iconic voice of the MTA & radio host; two grandmaster chess players—Marty and ChiChi—to compete with guests; Saint James Joy as DJs; custom airbrush t-shirts from PUPPETS GALLERY54; guest portraits from 0H10 M1ke; collectable metrocards (RIP) from Nik Bentel Studio as swag; a photobooth; New York-themed bites. Giant posters celebrated the year's Prize winners throughout the venue, while others invited guests to get involved with the Prize, turning celebration into activation.

All our paper goods and totes were designed by Irina Koryagina and printed by Masterpiece. Additional party planning support from Mariah Espada and Erika Augustine.
